Our Purpose

SudoStation.org is a medium to long term commercial project aimed at closing the knowledge gap between the savvy and beginners. We believe the information mediums that power users & developers use are very useful, but not well suited for today's general Linux user.

"Linux can be very confusing to newcomers... They might have heard something about it, but don't know which questions to ask since they don't understand the structure of how everything fits together."

We believe that providing a simple browsing & comparison experience of distros & environments would naturally give newcomers a general concept of how Linux platforms are structured, and as a consequence, also what relevant features & options to consider for the experience they seek.

"Grasp the structure, and you will know which questions to ask. This is the intuitive learning process".

SudoStation.org first went live on 5 September 2025.

Our Structure

SudoStation.org is divided into four main divisions, each has it's own role to play in achieving our purpose. Some website buttons on the hardware and gaming pages may have affiliate links, and many or all of our blog post pages have advertisements. While being relevant, these pages provide some income that helps sustain our project for browsing distros & environments.
